J. Scott is a regular guy who grew up in gangland Los Angeles, dropped out of high school, and jumped out of helicopters as a rescue swimmer in the U. S. Navy. And… Over two decades ago, he founded 120VC. He’s about helping people, leaders, and their teams get sh*t done. Today, he lives in Tacoma, WA, serving his global customer base, launching new businesses, and exploring the outdoors with his family.
After dropping out of high school, J. learned all that anyone needs to be successful is to be disciplined, trusting, transparent when it matters, and accountable. With that recipe, he and 120VC have been helping Fortune 500 leaders, and their teams benefit from the transformative power of getting shit done #GSD.
His approach to #GSD isn’t magical. Nor does it require anyone to learn a bunch of new buzzwords, deploy technology, act smart, be smart, pray or drink any Kool-aid. Andrew McGuire is the Co-Founder, CEO of Brick And Matter Co. He is a Cannes Lion Award-Winning creative and strategist who challenges traditional ways of thinking as a leader in the convergence of digital, advertising, and content. Today, he leads BAMCO, a brand and innovation accelerator obsessed with transforming the way businesses matter by helping them transform the way they do branding, marketing, and go to market.

Erin Pearl leads talent acquisition for the 120 Brand Community: 120VC, BAMCO, and Next Jump Outfitters. Throughout Erin’s career, she has implemented and built out numerous talent acquisition departments and has hired 300+ individuals into an array of professions. She has a clear passion for partnering with people and genuinely listening to them and their needs. Her “picker” for the right candidate and read for people is spot on. Since starting at 120VC, in 2018, she’s taken over all aspects of Talent Acquisition by storm and has provided change leaders to Riot Games, Blizzard Entertainment, Sony Pictures, Mattel, NBC Universal, Okta, ResMed, and others. Outside of work, Erin and her husband live in Arizona – they love to travel, especially with their miniature Goldendoodle named Archie.
Jake Roig is the co-founder of 120VC and senior practice lead responsible for industry-leading Enterprise Project Services operations and delivery for 120VC’s clients and the 120 Brand Community. Jake has been with 120VC from day one and has been instrumental in developing a portfolio of services, training, and amazing people. Jake is relentless in applying best practices and sharing his knowledge with others. He is a TLP Certified and a recognized expert at Program and Project Management within the industry for consistently enabling clients to achieve their goals by creating win-wins for Project Owners and Stakeholders. Before joining 120VC, Jake worked with Universal Music Group and with Sony. Jake is all about helping clients and prospective clients achieve their goals and realize their vision.
Jim Adams is a co-founder of 120VC and senior practice lead responsible for industry-leading Program Manager for 120VC’s clients and the 120 Brand Community.
He teamed up with 120VC in 2011 but has been a #GSDer since birth. Always looking for what's next, he's been a part of incredible projects from entertainment to financial services, all the way to aerospace. Back in 1993, while with DIRECTV, Jim was actively involved at launch and spent over 13 years supporting growth to over 15 million customers. Both at DIRECTV and as an IT consultant, he has honed his skills in customer relationship management strategy definition and deployment, technology roadmap creation, and business process reengineering. He received his Associate of Science, Computer Information Systems from El Camino College in 1994 and in 2008 earned a certificate in Nanotechnology in Business, from Loyola Marymount University.
As Financial Controller at 120VC and the 120 Brand Community, Colleen turns aggressive cash flow management and financial strategy into a competitive advantage that creates enormous value for our clients and team members.
Colleen is obsessed with fostering an authentic team culture inspired by years of listening to #GSD talks and completing the TLP. At 120VC, everything is “on-time and on-budget” because Colleen is on the budget. She brings a decade of experience as a successful entrepreneur and creative business owner to ensure we are always operating lean and purpose-led like a startup.
It’s never just business with Colleen, it’s about the people. She shares her planning and leadership skills as a parent and serves on the board of several nonprofits geared toward education and school-aged children. When she’s not GSD-ing, Colleen, her husband Jason, and their two kids live the #jumplife by either boating or camping as far off the grid as possible.
