120VC exists to enable Leaders and their teams to reach their potential.
We fundamentally believe that when people and teams succeed by delivering the expected and necessary results, they are significantly happier than when they aren’t.
People on winning teams don’t need to multitask, they shut their phones off at night, connect with their significant others, and don’t need to work weekends. Their quality of life is better than those on losing teams.
We imagine a world where the vast majority of teams and companies are winning, AKA, delivering the expected and necessary results. This would increase their quality of life, people’s happiness, and everyone’s economic prosperity.
This is the transformative power of #GSD, Getting Shit Done.

In over our two decades of research and practice, we did not find a single standard, silver bullet, or panacea in existence that enables true Business Agility. So we invented it.
The 120 Standard. It is the curation of proven frameworks and outcome-based learnings into one simple, actionable standard that’s certifiable and actionable.
The standard itself is agile, constantly adopting proven practices as they’re proven out by start-ups and Fortune 1000 organizations.
The 120 GSD Standard makes Business Agility possible through the mastery of the 7 Change Disciplines: Leadership, Enterprise Project Management, Project Team Demand Management, Agile / Product Management, Change Management, and Program Management.
We see what’s next to make what’s new. Leadership is a choice, not a position.
It’s never just business, it’s about people. We demonstrate care by what we do, not by what we feel or say. Talk is cheap.
We start with why and don’t stop. We have a fierce commitment to alignment and clear expectations. We cultivate mastery, autonomy with purpose.
We obsessively ask “what if?” We focus our stakeholders on the possibilities as opposed to the obstacles.
We challenge assumptions by questioning the narratives. We exercise the power of a growth mindset and a happiness advantage.
We actively listen to understand people, and speak with clarity and passion. We communicate to lead.
Teamwork is our superpower. Teams don’t divide and conquer, they move the ball down the field together. Teams don’t have a hierarchy, they pass the ball to the most appropriate person to make the goal. When people ask what our superpower is, we name our team members. We cultivate es·prit de corps.
We measure everything so we know what needs to be improved. We define the gap between current and future states, to set objectives, measure progress, and deliver the “Right It.” If it’s not done right, it’s not done.
There is only one leadership KPI. We enable our stakeholders to define and achieve the necessary and expected results.
If no isn’t an option, then yes is meaningless. We believe Leadership is about enabling expected results, not control. If team members feel safe to set boundaries, they will be more focused and deliver on their commitments.
Hope is not a strategy. When we make a commitment to complete something we open the calendar on our smartphones, find the next available white space, and block time to complete it.
We don’t wait, we step on the gas. We believe in progress over process and perfection. We believe that failed experiments bring us one step closer to success.
