Ulrich von Schweinitz currently works at Rockefeller Center in New York for NBCUniversal as Program Leader Enterprise Business Engagement. During his NBC years, he supported the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, many domestic and international infrastructure projects, and the 2018 Super Bowl, the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, and the 2018 FIFA Soccer World Cup in Russia. Not to mention IT support for NBC studio productions out of New York, like Saturday Night Live, the Jimmy Fallon Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Megyn Kelly Today.
Based in Los Angeles, Ulrich von Schweinitz worked as a consultant for RTL Television and Deutsche Telekom, then for a number of start-ups and for 120° Venture Construction, Inc., until he joined NBCUniversal in 2013/14.
He has more than 14 years of experience in European convergent media strategies as a leading manager of RTL New Media, based in Cologne. His many accomplishments include producing the first online streaming of a live
morning television show in Germany; leading the interactive components for syndicated shows such as “Big Brother,” “American Idol,” and “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” inventing and developing RTLdating as a mobile service for SMS/text messaging; and spearheading the RTLDating Platform, which acquired 120,000 new customers and was subsequently sold to Match.com. Together with UFA Germany he launched the first web series ever produced by a German television network targeting a teenage television audience. In 20014, he launched the first interactive television/online/mobile 24/7 channel in Germany for RTL which turned profitable after two years and was nominated for the Interactive Emmy Awards.
