Having a support system is so important. Peer group forums of 7–10 Transformational Leadership Professionals are the foundation of the TLN. We meet virtually on a monthly basis connecting you with people who help each other navigate leadership challenges and identify hidden opportunities by sharing their own experiences in a trusted and confidential environment.

The TLN is a safe space to ask tough questions and get a multitude of honest perspectives. Chances are someone has been through what you’re going through. It could be a new opportunity, a cross-road moment, an ongoing issue, a transition, or a business or family crisis. Each forum we check in on the physical, mental, financial, and community health status sharing our highs and lows. No one is told what to feel, think or do. We share our individual experiences and coach each other to reach our potentials.

2. Select the city you will be participating in TLN events. If your city is not listed, there is not yet a chapter in your area. If you would
like to start one, please contact us here.

3. In addition to your resume, please upload a letter of interest. Make your case for entry into the TLN. To do that you have to know
a lot about 120VC and our culture. Tell us why you want to join and what value you feel you can bring to other members of a peer
group.

4. Upload a list of no less than 3 references that you have worked directly for in the past. We will need their full name, LinkedIn
address, email, and telephone numbers. Please note, uploading the list of references automatically gives us permission to check
them.

    TLN FAQ

    Membership and membership dues are for 12 month (1 year) at a time.

    12 meetings per year, including one annual retreat. Monthly meetings are scheduled on the Third Tuesday of every month from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

    Members are expected to prepare their personal forum updates in advance. This can take up to an hour prior to starting the forum meeting.

    Members who choose to take advantage of the Forum experience by presenting their current challenges and/or opportunities for experience shares from the other members will need to spend up to 2 hours between Forum meetings preparing their presentation with a designated coach.

    At this time all meetings are virtual. This is at the discretion of each chapter in accordance with local COVID guidelines and members’ agreed-upon preferences.

    Yes. Each forum we check in on the physical, mental, financial, and community health status sharing our highs and lows. Everything that’s said in the forum and between members outside of the forum is confidential. This confidentiality extends to written communication. Be sure others are not checking your TL Network voicemail and email.

    If there’s a breach of confidentiality it is to be discussed with the group and can result in the removal of the offending member.

    Forum meetings are facilitated by a moderator, structured to ensure value is created, and confidentiality is maintained. Meetings generally qualify for continuing education units for those with credentials from professional organizations. Each member receives forum training to ensure they are equipped to get the most from their experience.

    Forum Size:
    10 maximum

    Moderator’s Term:
    12 months (fiscal year). Moderator elect encouraged to have the same term. Both incoming moderators and moderators elect to attend moderator training.

    Meeting Frequency:
    12 meetings per year, including one annual retreat. Monthly meetings are scheduled on the Third Tuesday of every month from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

    Meeting Format:
    Agendas for each Forum meeting will be distributed by the moderator prior to Forum.

    Late entry penalties:
    Being on time and committed to the meetings is important. The following penalties will be strictly enforced: If you are after 1:00 (by cell phones) you contribute $100 to the Forum expense account.

    We understand emergencies can come up and create unavoidable conflicts. We allow up to two absences per fiscal year.

    Member Participation/Commitment:
    We consider attendance a critical element of forum vitality. Hence, if a member misses 2 meetings in a fiscal year, the member is automatically considered “out-of-the-forum” and needs to initiate a petition to all current forum members for being reinstated in the forum. This petition must meet unanimous approval for reinstatement. If a member is removed from Forum, the member may petition other forums in the TL Network for reinstatement.

    Late entry penalties:

    As I started my firm, I knew being part of an executive network would be important.  The 120vc TL Network is unique in part because we are all Alumni from the 120vc Transformational Leadership Program (world class on its own merit).  In addition, and equally important are the monthly coaching, educational and insight opportunities for members to receive and support on another.  After each session I come away with a renewed sense of urgency and confidence to annihilate obstacles and focus on the growth my firm.  It is a competitive differentiator for me - period.

    120VC, thanks for creating the Transformational Leadership Network. Every month I get the benefit of a personal coaching session with a fantastic team of professionals. All sorts of challenges are presented, and each person shares personal experiences and methods to tackle them based on decades of real-world experience.
