Project Leader/Business Analyst

About the Job

120VC is currently looking for ­­­­Project Leader/Business Analyst. For this role, you will you will play a hybrid role across a number of Products and complex Programs and Agile coach for the Product Teams you work with. In this role, the PM / BA will work closely with a project team from a third-party vendor to co-lead the implementation of its Contact Center solution to multiple departments at ResMed.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Combination of education and highly relevant work experience will be considered
  • Formal project management qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Experience project managing telephony and UCaaS (Unified communications as a service) projects highly desirable
  • Experience with Ring Central cloud-based solutions highly desirable
  • 4+ years of experience managing programs/projects in matrixed Agile software development cultures with
    • Experience in top tier modern cloud-based software development environments
    • Practical experience and working knowledge of full cycle DevOps teams
    • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, familiarity with Agile software development tools such as Jira
    • Experience in all phases of the software/project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographies
  • Experience with data dictionaries and data mapping will be essential for facilitating the anticipated data migrations and system integrations
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Adept in problem-solving and resolving conflict
  • Experience working with medical devices or a regulated environment is a plus but not essential

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for project management of cross-cutting programs in a Software Development environment
  • You will be responsible for project managing products, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
  • You will drive estimation, planning, tracking, reporting, risk identification and management
  • You will be working in a highly technical modern software development environment, and facilitating technical discussions
  • You will serve as a counterpart and primary point of contact to the vendor’s Project Manager and delivery team and will orchestrate across ResMed business and IT teams
  • You will be collaborating with multiple teams, vendors and stakeholders and reporting on plans, proposals, and project status to stakeholders
  • As an agile coach you will manage and optimize the flow of work through the principles of agility, facilitate estimation and planning sessions and other agile activities, and requirements gathering and analysis
  • You will be involved with all requirements gathering sessions, assist with coordination of necessary SMEs, and document product and business requirements to meet project objectives
  • Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
  • Work with Product Managers/Owners, stakeholders and Program Managers to ensure alignment with commitments to the businesses and across teams
  • Be accountable for escalating and ensuring resolution to program issues to stakeholders, dealing with resource constraints, and managing timing challenges and syncing dependencies across teams
  • Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
  • You will be comfortable planning in an ambiguous environment, and able to assist the teams in managing and reducing ambiguity
  • Manage software release activities and documentation, including coordination with all applicable stakeholders, in a regulated environment
  • Manage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration to internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends
  • Ensure the implementation of management systems within your area of responsibility
  • Responsible in the knowledge transfer and system transition activities for Production Support team members
