Project And Agile Processes Fail When People Fail To Lead.
Leaders aren't born... They are made! The key performance indicator of a great leader is that they enable their stakeholders to define and then deliver the necessary results. This presentation will help you unlock the transformative power of GSD by putting focus on developing your leadership skills and those of every person on your team.
About This Workshop
Are you tired of hearing that most projects fail because of poor communication? The frustration you feel is probably because you instinctively understand the following:
- Projects don’t fail; they don’t have a heartbeat or a social security number. People fail.
- Communication is simply the vehicle we use to lead.
- Blaming failure on communication is the greatest obstacle to addressing the lack of leadership skills that lead to undesirable outcomes.
If we were to simplify the success criteria for a leader, it would be "they enable their stakeholders to define and deliver the necessary and expected results."
When organizations focus on improving communication, they generally add processes and guidelines that increase the workload on teams that are already struggling to deliver the desired results. But it’s easier to use communication as the scapegoat than it is to admit they "suck at leadership!"
The solution is to focus on developing the leadership skills of each of their team members regardless of their title. The basic foundation of an agile organization, an agile mindset and teamwork is that "everyone is a leader." Increasing the Leadership Quotient (LQ) in an organization, and getting "lean" with process will lead to more successful projects and desired outcomes.

Servant Leadership was an outstanding course! I definitely recommend this course to leaders and their organizations. It provided guidance on the application of proven leadership methodologies to solve realistic daily operations and organization’s cultural events.
Jason is an excellent speaker who keeps the audience engaged throughout the course. The content is filled with great reminders for those who are servant leaders and some new takeaways that can be used in many settings, not just work! Thanks Jason I will be looking into taking more of your courses in the future.
A wonderful virtual presentation, with lots of practical takeaways on "Servant Leadership". Jason kept the participants engaged through out. Highly recommended course!!!
I got a lot of takeaways in this class!! The energy that Jason has is contagious and kept the group engaged, time went by fast. I highly recommend this class to add good new practices to your leadership toolbox.
I took this class after reading Jason's bio in a PMI email. Jason makes the material fun to learn and the session is full of small take aways that people can start to use immediately in their work or life situations. It's a refreshing look at how to lead by example, especially in the new world where you might not have direct authority but also may be completely virtual. I would recommend this session to not only current and future leaders but anyone that's just looking at how to make the workplace a better environment. 5 Stars!!!
Wonderful presentation, on "Servant Leadership". Definitely a "stay awake" presentation. I notice some similarities between the 120VC approach and Edward Deming’s 14 points on quality management. Very good I might add.
Instead, it inspires the leader in all of us. How we can be better humans and better leaders and Get Stuff Done in our workplace and our lives. The course is lively, entertaining and includes working sessions with your classmates - and real life strategies to put into action as a Servant Leader. I look forward to implementing these ideas to make my job easier and to help all my co-workers. This class provides a playbook on leadership.
