Humans fundamentally want success at home with their families, friends, and work. And nobody knows how to be successful at doing their jobs differently. We are asking our humans to experiment and be vulnerable, which introduces an inherent risk to their potential success.
This conundrum is the challenge leaders exist to solve.
Transformation has never been about the new stuff we put in place; the policies and the tech are all deployed to enable our humans to perform their jobs differently.
Leaders help humans navigate these changes by helping them feel safe to experiment and get excited to slay new ways of working.
Influence is the capacity to affect the character, development, or behavior of someone or something or the effect itself.
